The human mind is an incredibly useful thing. It enables us to think, learn, use language, imagine, remember, solve problems, create, empathise... and much else.

So, what can we do to cultivate a healthier relationship with our wonderful but danger-fixated minds? Start by noticing what your mind is doing. Then name what it is doing. Something like: "Oh, there's my mind predicting the worst again" or "Thinking about what could go wrong here again". Have a look at this short video: |
